What is Baptism?
The Bible encourages all beleivers in Jesus the Messiah to be baptized. If it is clearly a good thing, why are there so many different views on what, how and who surrounding baptism? If you are a believer in Jesus the Messiah and trusting in him for the forgiveness of you sins I whole heartedly encourage you to experience baptism by immersion. I would love to discuss this with you personally.
Our views on baptism in brief:
1. Baptism is something all believers in Jesus the Messiah should experience as they are able.
2. Baptism is not for unbelievers. Infants, children and others who have not repented of their sins and asked Jesus Christ into their hearts by the grace of the Holy Spirit can be dedicated but should not be baptized.
3. Baptism does not save you. Only by the shed blood of Jesus can we enter into the Kingdom of God.
